Blaupunkt 32WGC5500 — a 32-inch Smart TV running Google TV

The Blaupunkt 32WGC5500 is a 32-inch television built for rooms where a large screen simply will not fit: a kitchen, a bedroom, a guest room or a study. It runs Google TV, so streaming apps install directly on the set with no separate box plugged into HDMI.

An HD picture at a size that suits small rooms

The panel resolution is 1366 x 768 pixels, with Direct LED backlighting spread across the whole area behind the screen. On a 32-inch diagonal viewed from 1.5 to 2 metres, HD Ready stays sharp; the gap to 4K only becomes visible on significantly larger screens. Contrast is 1100:1, the viewing angle is 178 degrees and response time is 9 ms.

Google TV, with the apps on the television

Google TV brings the app store, voice search and recommendations into a single interface. The internet connection can be wireless over Wi-Fi or wired through the RJ-45 port. Bluetooth lets you pair a remote, headphones or a wireless speaker.

Connections and TV reception

The set has HDMI ports, two USB ports, a headphone output and a Common Interface slot for an operator card. The tuner covers DVB-T2, DVB-T, DVB-C, DVB-S and DVB-S2, so it works on terrestrial aerial, cable or satellite.
