The Xiaomi Redmi 14C in Starry Blue comes with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. It is a 4G phone with a 6.88-inch 120 Hz screen, a 50 MP main camera and a 5160 mAh battery. The Starry Blue version has a blue back with fine arcs that recall star trails in the sky.

A 6.88-inch 120 Hz screen

The screen measures 6.88 inches with an HD+ resolution of 1640 x 720 pixels. The refresh rate goes up to 120 Hz and touch is sampled up to 240 times a second, so scrolling and simple games respond quickly. Brightness reaches 600 nits in HBM mode, and the TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light and Flicker Free certifications help with reading in the evening.

Helio G81-Ultra and a separate microSD slot

The MediaTek Helio G81-Ultra runs at up to 2.0 GHz with Mali-G52 MC2 graphics. The 4 GB of RAM is LPDDR4X, and the 128 GB of storage can be topped up with a microSD card in its own slot, without giving up the second SIM. The system is Xiaomi HyperOS.

A 50 MP camera and a 13 MP selfie camera

On the back is a 50 MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture next to an auxiliary lens, with night, portrait and HDR modes. The front camera has 13 MP, more than phones in this class usually get. Both record video in 1080p at 30 frames per second.

A 5160 mAh battery

The battery has a typical capacity of 5160 mAh and charges at 18 W over USB Type-C. The box holds the phone and a USB Type-C cable; there is no adapter, and Xiaomi recommends an 18 W PD one.

Connectivity and size

The phone has two nano-SIM slots, 4G, Wi-Fi on 2.4 and 5 GHz, Bluetooth 5.4 with LDAC, a 3.5 mm jack and FM radio with headphones. NFC is there, but its availability depends on the market. It unlocks with the side fingerprint sensor or face unlock. It measures 171.88 x 77.8 x 8.22 mm, and the Starry Blue version weighs 204 g.
