Xiaomi 17T phone | 6.59-inch AMOLED display, Leica camera with 5x zoom and 6500 mAh battery

The Xiaomi 17T brings a camera developed with Leica to the T range, including a periscope telephoto with 5x optical zoom, a feature usually reserved for much more expensive models. It has a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with 3500 nits peak brightness, a MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra processor, 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage, plus a generous 6500 mAh battery. The body is IP68 certified.

6.59-inch AMOLED display, 3500 nits

The 2756 × 1268 pixel resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate give a sharp, smooth picture, and the 3500 nits peak brightness keeps the screen readable even in strong sunlight. The panel supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protects the surface.

Leica camera with 5x periscope telephoto

The camera system combines a 50 MP main camera with optical stabilisation, a 50 MP periscope telephoto with 5x optical zoom and a 12 MP ultra-wide. Together they cover everything from wide landscapes to distant details without a visible loss of quality. The front camera is 32 MP, and video records in 4K at 60 fps with HDR10+.

Dimensity 8500 Ultra and 512 GB storage

The MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra processor, built on 4 nm, is paired with 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512 GB of UFS 4.1 storage, enough for games, multitasking and a large library of photos and clips without a memory card.

6500 mAh battery and 67 W charging

The 6500 mAh Si/C battery typically lasts up to two days of moderate use. Wired fast charging is 67 W, and the phone can power other devices with 22.5 W reverse charging. The system runs Android 16 with the HyperOS 3 interface.
