Samsung Galaxy Fold Ultra 16 GB / 1 TB, Graphite

The Samsung Galaxy Fold Ultra in Graphite is the version of the Samsung foldable with the most memory: 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. It pairs an 8-inch inner display that closes to the size of a regular phone with a 6.5-inch cover display and a 200 MP main camera.

Two displays, both at 120 Hz

The inner display that unfolds is an 8-inch Foldable Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X panel at 2256 x 2504 with 3000 nits peak brightness. The cover display is 6.5 inches at 1080 x 2520, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 3, so the phone works normally when folded. Both run at 120 Hz, and LTPO lowers the refresh rate on static content.

200 MP main camera and 3x optical zoom

The back has three cameras: a 200 MP main at f/1.7 with optical stabilisation, a 10 MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom and stabilisation, and a 50 MP ultra wide. Each screen has its own 10 MP front camera. Video goes up to 8K at 30 fps and 4K at 120 fps.

16 GB RAM and 1 TB for large files

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, built on 3 nm, has eight cores at up to 4.74 GHz and Adreno 840 graphics. The 1 TB version comes with 16 GB of RAM, compared with 12 GB on the smaller versions. Of the 1 TB, about 959.5 GB is available to the user, according to Samsung. There is no memory card slot, so the large storage matters for 8K video and work files. Samsung DeX turns the phone into a desktop on an external monitor.

5000 mAh battery

The silicon-carbon battery holds 5000 mAh (typical value) and gives up to 27 hours of video playback, according to Samsung. It charges at 45 W by cable, reaching 67% in about 30 minutes, and at 20 W wirelessly over Qi2.2. It can top up other devices through 4.5 W reverse wireless charging.

Slim build and connectivity

Unfolded, the phone is 4.1 mm thick, and 8.9 mm when folded, at 215 g. The frame is aluminium, the back is Gorilla Glass Victus 2, and the IP48 rating covers immersion in fresh water but not fine dust. It has 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, UWB, NFC and USB Type-C 3.2. It runs Android 17 with One UI 9, and Samsung provides security updates until July 2033.
