Samsung Galaxy A57 phone | 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus, 50 MP camera with OIS and 45 W charging

The Samsung Galaxy A57 is the mid-range phone to choose when you want a good display, a stabilised camera and serious battery life without paying flagship prices. It has a 6.7-inch 120 Hz Super AMOLED Plus panel, a 4 nm Exynos 1680 processor, 8 GB of RAM and a 50 MP main camera with optical stabilisation. At 179 g it is surprisingly light for its size.

6.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus display at 120 Hz

The 1080 x 2340 pixel resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate deliver a clean image and smooth scrolling, while Super AMOLED Plus technology produces deep blacks and vivid colours. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ is top-tier protection for a phone in this category.

50 MP camera with optical stabilisation

The 50 MP main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, PDAF autofocus and OIS optical stabilisation takes sharp shots even in the evening or on the move. It is joined by a 13 MP ultra-wide and a 5 MP macro sensor, while the 12 MP front camera covers selfies and calls. Video is recorded in 4K at 30 fps.

4 nm Exynos 1680 and 8 GB of RAM

The Samsung Exynos 1680 processor, built on 4 nm, has eight cores led by a Cortex-A720 at 2.9 GHz. Together with 8 GB of RAM, it handles everyday apps, social media, browsing and regular games without fault, with power consumption kept in check by the modern manufacturing process.

5000 mAh, 45 W charging and IP67

The 5000 mAh battery comfortably covers a full day, and 45 W Super Fast Charging 2.0 greatly cuts the time spent at the socket. IP67 certification means resistance to dust and temporary immersion in water, and unlocking is by under-display fingerprint sensor or face recognition.
