Samsung Galaxy A37 phone | 50 MP camera with OIS, Exynos 1480 and 45 W fast charging

The Samsung Galaxy A37 sits right in the middle of the A series: it brings optical stabilisation on the main camera, Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection and 45 W charging — features borrowed from the higher segment — at a price that remains affordable. It has a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen at 120 Hz, a 4 nm Exynos 1480 processor and a 5000 mAh battery.

6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen

The 1080 x 2340 pixel resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate deliver a sharp image and smooth navigation. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ is a higher-tier protection for a mid-range phone and noticeably reduces the risk of scratches.

50 MP camera with optical stabilisation

The 50 MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture and OIS optical stabilisation makes the difference in low light and when filming on the move — a feature many phones in this category lack. Alongside are an 8 MP ultra-wide and a 5 MP macro, while the 12 MP front camera covers selfies. Video in 4K at 30 fps.

4 nm Exynos 1480

The Samsung Exynos 1480 processor, built on 4 nm, has four Cortex-A78 cores at 2.75 GHz and four Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0 GHz. With 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, it comfortably handles everyday use, social media, browsing and casual games.

5000 mAh, 45 W and IP67

The 5000 mAh battery comfortably lasts a full day, and Super Fast Charging 2.0 at 45 W greatly shortens time at the socket. IP67 certification covers dust and temporary immersion, and unlocking is by under-display fingerprint or face recognition. The phone accepts nano-SIM and eSIM.

Întrebări frecvente

How does the Galaxy A37 differ from the A57?

The A37 uses the Exynos 1480 chip with an Xclipse 530 GPU and 6 GB of RAM, against the Exynos 1680 and 8 GB on the A57. Its ultra-wide camera is 8 MP instead of 13 MP, and the panel is Super AMOLED rather than Super AMOLED Plus. It keeps the same core strengths though: 6.7 inches at 120 Hz, Gorilla Glass Victus+, an IP67 rating and 45 W charging.

What display does the Galaxy A37 have?

It has a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a 1080 x 2340 resolution, a 19.5:9 ratio and 385 ppi. The refresh rate is 120 Hz and the protection is Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+. The phone weighs 196 g and carries an IP67 rating.

What cameras does the Galaxy A37 have?

The back has three modules: a 50 MP main with f/1.8, PDAF autofocus and optical stabilisation, an 8 MP ultra wide and a 5 MP macro. The front camera is 12 MP at f/2.2. Video recording goes up to 4K at 30 fps and 1080p at 60 fps.

What battery does the Galaxy A37 have and which cable is included?

The Li-Ion battery holds 5000 mAh and supports 45 W Super Fast Charging 2.0 over USB Type-C. A USB-A to USB-C cable is included in the box; the wall adapter is sold separately. There is no memory card slot, so the storage stays as it comes from the factory.
