OPPO A98 5G 8 GB / 256 GB, Cool Black + OPPO Enco Buds2

The set contains the OPPO A98 5G phone in Cool Black, with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, and OPPO Enco Buds2 wireless earbuds included, with their charging case. The phone has a 6.72-inch 120 Hz screen, a Snapdragon 695 5G processor and 67 W SUPERVOOC charging.

6.72-inch 120 Hz display

The LTPS LCD screen measures 6.72 inches with FHD+ 2400 x 1080 resolution at 391 ppi. The refresh rate goes up to 120 Hz and touch is sampled 240 times a second. Typical brightness is 550 nits, rising to 680 nits in sunlight. In vivid mode the screen covers the DCI-P3 colour gamut.

Snapdragon 695 5G and 256 GB

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 has eight cores at up to 2.2 GHz, Adreno 619 graphics and a 5G modem. The 8 GB of RAM can be extended by up to 8 GB of virtual RAM taken from storage. The 256 GB (UFS 2.2) can be expanded with a microSD card of up to 1 TB.

64 MP camera and microscope camera

The main camera has 64 MP, an f/1.7 aperture and autofocus. Next to it are a 2 MP mono camera and a 2 MP microscope camera that shoots from 5.5 mm at 20x or 40x magnification. The front camera has 32 MP. Video is recorded in 1080p at 30 frames per second.

5000 mAh, 67 W and stereo speakers

The battery has a typical capacity of 5000 mAh and supports 67 W SUPERVOOC charging; OPPO puts the charger and a USB cable in the phone box. The phone has stereo speakers, an Ultra Volume mode that raises volume up to 200%, and a 3.5 mm jack for wired headphones.

The OPPO Enco Buds2 in the set

The included earbuds have 10 mm dynamic drivers and connect over Bluetooth 5.2 with AAC and SBC. At 50% volume they play for up to 7 hours on one charge and up to 28 hours with the case. They have noise reduction for calls and IPX4 protection against splashes and sweat. The phone itself has Dual SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC and a fingerprint sensor; it measures 165.6 x 76.1 x 8.2 mm and weighs 192 g.
