Oppo A78 8GB / 128GB / Green

OPPO A78 phone | 6.43-inch AMOLED display and 67 W SUPERVOOC charging

The OPPO A78 is a compact phone for anyone who wants an AMOLED screen and fast charging, but not a big, heavy phone. The screen measures 6.43 inches, it weighs 180 g and is just 7.9 mm thick. With 8 GB RAM, 128 GB of storage and a microSDXC card slot, you have room for everyday apps and photos.

67 W SUPERVOOC for the 5000 mAh battery

The 5000 mAh Li-Ion battery supports 67 W SUPERVOOC fast charging via the USB Type-C port. In practice, even a short stop at the socket, in the morning or before you leave the house, adds a useful reserve of power. In the box you will find a USB-A – USB-C cable, and the port supports OTG for USB accessories connected directly to the phone.

6.43-inch AMOLED at 90 Hz

The AMOLED screen has a resolution of 1080 x 2400 and a density of 409 ppi, so text and photos look sharp even up close. The 90 Hz refresh rate makes scrolling through social media and menus smoother than on a 60 Hz screen. Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protects the display, and IP54 certification protects the phone from dust and splashes of water.

Snapdragon 680, 50 MP camera and stereo sound

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 (6 nm) platform has eight cores of up to 2.4 GHz and Adreno 610 graphics, and the system is Android 13 with the ColorOS 13.1 interface. The 50 MP main camera, with an f/1.8 aperture and PDAF focusing, works together with a 2 MP sensor; for selfies and video calls you have the 8 MP front camera. You film in 1080p at 30 frames per second. Sound comes from stereo speakers, and the 3.5 mm headphone jack lets you use the wired headphones you already have. You unlock the phone with the side-mounted fingerprint sensor or via Face Unlock. You get NFC, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 and positioning via GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and BeiDou.
