Infinix Hot 50i phone | 6.7-inch display at 120 Hz and 5000 mAh battery

The Infinix Hot 50i focuses on the screen and the battery: a 6.7-inch IPS LCD panel with a 120 Hz rate and a 5000 mAh battery, with a stated battery life of up to 1–2 days. It runs Android 14 with the XOS 14.5 interface and comes with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. It suits calls, messaging, social media and video, and the IP54 rating protects it from dust and splashes.

120 Hz on a 6.7-inch screen

The 120 Hz refresh rate makes scrolling through feeds, chats and menus smoother than on a regular 60 Hz screen. The resolution is 1600 × 720 pixels, with a density of about 262 ppi: enough for video and browsing, although very small text looks less crisp than on higher-resolution screens. The large format helps with reading and typing.

5000 mAh, 18 W charging

You charge the 5000 mAh Li-Po battery through the USB Type-C port at 18 W. The phone has no wireless charging and no NFC, so it is good to know this in advance if you often pay with your phone at the till. It weighs 184 g and is 8.1 mm thick, with dimensions of 165.7 x 77.1 mm.

Helio G81 and 48 MP camera

The octa-core MediaTek Helio G81 processor, with Mali-G52 MC2 graphics and 4 GB of LPDDR4X RAM, covers the basics: messaging, browsing, video and social media.
