Tablets at Moldtelecom

Tablets cover the space between a phone and a laptop: a large screen for reading, films and homework, in a format that fits in a backpack. They are the usual choice for children at school and for reading at home.

Because the purchase is made from the operator, tablets with a data module can be taken together with a SIM, in a single order and on the same bill as your subscription.

What to look at before choosing

• Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi plus mobile data — the second has a SIM slot and works anywhere, without depending on phone tethering.
• Storage — downloaded films and textbooks fill it quickly; check whether the model accepts a memory card.
• Screen size and weight — a large screen is better for films but more tiring to hold while reading.

Which tablet suits school?

Battery life and storage matter more than the processor: textbooks, homework and classroom apps do not demand power, but a school day away from a socket and a year of downloaded files demand battery and space. Check both in the specifications.

Do I need a tablet with a SIM card?

Only if you use it often away from home. A Wi-Fi model is cheaper and connects through phone tethering, but it drains the phone's battery. The mobile-data version is independent and more convenient when travelling.

Can I buy a tablet in instalments?

Yes, in monthly instalments over 24 months. The monthly figure appears on each product page next to the full price.
