Samsung Galaxy Fold Ultra — an 8-inch screen that folds into a pocket
The Samsung Galaxy Fold Ultra sits at the top of Samsung's foldable range: an 8-inch inner display that closes down to the size of an ordinary phone, with a 6.5-inch cover screen you can use one-handed. It is the phone for anyone who wants a tablet and a smartphone in the same device.
Two screens, both at 120 Hz
The inner panel is an 8-inch Foldable Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X at 2256 x 2504 with 3000 nits peak brightness, enough to read in direct sun. The cover display is 6.5 inches at 1080 x 2520. Both run at 120 Hz, and LTPO drops the refresh rate on static content to save battery.
A 200 MP camera
The back carries three modules: a 200 MP main at f/1.7 with optical stabilisation, a 10 MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom and stabilisation, and a 50 MP ultra wide with autofocus. There are two front cameras, one per screen, both 10 MP. Video reaches 8K at 30 fps and 4K at 120 fps.
Performance and endurance
The processor is the 3 nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of UFS 4.x storage. The silicon-carbon battery holds 5000 mAh and charges at 45 W over cable, reaching 67% in 30 minutes, plus 20 W wirelessly.
