Xiaomi 17 phone | Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, three 50 MP cameras and a 6330 mAh battery

The Xiaomi 17 is the brand's compact flagship: it packs the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, three 50 MP cameras and a 6330 mAh battery into a 6.3-inch body weighing just 191 g. It is rare for a phone this size to have such a large battery, and 100 W wired charging completes the package.

6.3-inch CrystalRes AMOLED display

The AMOLED panel, with a resolution of 2656 × 1220 pixels and a 120 Hz refresh rate, delivers a dense, fluid picture in a format that is easy to use one-handed. HDR10+ and Dolby Vision are supported, and the surface is protected by Xiaomi Shield Glass.

Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 with 12 GB RAM

The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor reaches up to 4.61 GHz and is paired with 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512 GB of UFS 4.1 storage. It is one of the fastest combinations available on Android, enough for gaming at maximum detail, video editing on the phone and years of use without showing signs of fatigue.

Three 50 MP cameras and 8K video

All three rear cameras are 50 MP, so you can switch between wide-angle, standard and zoom without losing resolution — an advantage over systems where the secondary modules are noticeably weaker. The front camera is also 50 MP. Video records at up to 8K, or 4K at 60 fps with HDR10+ and optical stabilisation.

6330 mAh, 100 W wired and 50 W wireless

The 6330 mAh battery is unusually large for a 6.3-inch, 191 g phone, which means flagship battery life without extra bulk. 100 W wired charging fills the battery very quickly, and 50 W wireless charging outpaces many wired chargers. IP68 certification covers dust and water, and the system is Android 16 with HyperOS 3.
