Huawei E5783 portable router | 4G internet up to 300 Mbps, wherever you have signal
The Huawei E5783 is a pocket Wi-Fi router: insert a Micro-SIM card and turn the mobile connection into a Wi-Fi network for your phone, laptop and tablet. It is handy at a country house, on holiday, on the road or as backup internet at home. It supports 4G LTE Cat6, with up to 300 Mbps download and 50 Mbps upload, and also works on 3G DC-HSPA+ networks. It measures 100 x 58 x 14 mm, so it fits in your pocket.
4G bands and internal antennas
The modem works on the FDD-LTE bands B1, B3, B7, B8, B20 and B28 and the TDD-LTE bands B38, B40 and B41. The router has its 4G and Wi-Fi antennas built into the casing, and four LED indicators show signal, Wi-Fi status, battery level and SMS at a glance.
Wi-Fi 5 on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz
The Wi-Fi 5 (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac) network is dual-band: the 5 GHz band gives you speed for your laptop and streaming, while 2.4 GHz reaches further and covers older devices. You connect a new device quickly via WPS, and you protect the network with WPA2-PSK, MAC address filtering and a firewall.
Settings from the browser or the app
You configure the router from the web interface or from the HUAWEI AI Life / SmartHome app. The router keeps traffic statistics, receives SMS and has a DHCP server, NAT and VPN Passthrough. The Micro-USB port is used for charging and for configuration from a computer. In the box you get the router, the removable Li-Ion battery, the Micro-USB cable and the quick start guide.
