Samsung Galaxy Buds4 Pro are Samsung's Pro-series wireless in-ear earbuds, with a two-way speaker system, adaptive active noise cancelling and six microphones for calls. This page shows the White version (white). Each earbud weighs 5.1 g and is rated IP57.
Two-way sound and a 24-bit codec
Each earbud has an 11 mm woofer and a 5.5 mm planar tweeter, each driven by its own amplifier. The woofer is wider than in the previous generation and the effective speaker area is almost 20% larger, which shows in a fuller bass. With a compatible Galaxy phone, Samsung Seamless Codec carries audio at 24-bit / 96 kHz (UHQ option). With other phones the earbuds use AAC, SBC or LC3, and 360 Audio widens the soundstage.
Noise cancelling that adjusts itself
Adaptive ANC takes the shape of your ear and the fit of the earbuds into account and changes the level of cancellation in real time. Adaptive Noise Control balances noise cancelling and ambient sound depending on where you are. Voice Detect lowers the music when you start talking, and Siren Detect alerts you when it hears a siren.
Clear calls with six microphones
For calls, Galaxy Buds4 Pro use six microphones, a VPU sensor that picks up your voice through vibration and a DNN neural network that separates your voice from background noise. With Super Wideband, call audio is carried with a bandwidth of up to 16 kHz when the earbuds are paired with a compatible Galaxy phone.
Up to 30 hours with the case
The 61 mAh battery in each earbud lasts up to 7 hours of music with ANC off and up to 6 hours with ANC on. The 530 mAh case recharges them several times, for a total of up to 30 and 26 hours respectively. The case charges over USB Type-C or on a wireless charger; the cable and charger are not in the box.
Design, fit and controls
The stem has a metal finish, and the shape was computed from ear data collected around the world. The box holds three pairs of silicone ear tips: S, M and L. Playback is controlled with Pinch Control, volume with a swipe along the stem, and calls can be answered or declined with a head gesture. The connection is Bluetooth 6.1 with LE Audio, and Auto Switch moves audio between Galaxy devices.
