Xiaomi Redmi Buds 8 Lite Blue

Xiaomi Redmi Buds 8 Lite earbuds | 42 dB hybrid ANC, in-app equaliser and calls in the wind

The Redmi Buds 8 Lite are in-ear TWS earbuds with hybrid noise cancelling of up to 42 dB, a 12.4 mm dynamic driver with a titanium diaphragm and Bluetooth 5.4. They suit anyone who wants ANC and app-adjustable sound in everyday earbuds, with 8 hours of playback on one charge and 36 hours with the case.

Equaliser with 5 presets in Xiaomi Earbuds

In the Xiaomi Earbuds app, available for iOS and Android, you choose one of the 5 equaliser presets or build your own EQ. That is also where you customise the touch controls. The earbuds use the AAC and SBC codecs, have 32 ohm impedance and cover 20–20,000 Hz.

Calls on the street, even in the wind

The two microphones use AI ENC to reduce surrounding noise during calls and withstand wind of up to 6 m/s. Transparency mode lets you hear station announcements or a question from colleagues without taking the earbuds out. Dual connection keeps the earbuds linked to two devices at once, Google Fast Pair speeds up the first pairing, and low-latency mode helps with games and video.

8 hours from the earbuds, 36 with the case

Each earbud has a 45 mAh battery, and the case a 475 mAh one; together they give you 8 hours of playback on one charge and 36 hours in total. Ten minutes of fast charging means 2 hours of music, and charging via USB Type-C takes about 1.5 hours. The earbuds have IP54 protection, the case does not, and one earbud weighs 4.5 g.
